My experience as a Children’s Wear Designer, guides my pattern designs for tiny clothing, a.k.a. piles of tiny laundry. I mean...is there anything better than tiny laundry? (Okay, maybe tiny, clean, folded and put away laundry). Alas, this happy outlet combines my artistic talent and industry experience to give my clients a unique advantage. My personal design style has been described as “clean, clever, and smile worthy.” I live for creating on-trend designs to take products to the next highly sought level. I also enjoy working with print houses that support multiple brands. I recognize and design within established brand aesthetics, making for successful collaborations. Since graduating from Parson’s, I have worked for companies from coast to coast. Over the years, I have honed my skills in illustration, trend, color, textiles, children’s clothing design, production, and merchandising. Most recently, I was a designer at Carter’s Inc. I lovingly designed for the Target line called Just One You, before leaving to stay home with my little ones. My mom-skills in shopping the market and changing a zillion diapers, has secured understanding beyond a designer’s perspective. I know what buyers and followers want. (Eh-em…ZIPPERS!).
